What this is
A plain guide to how much coverage to think about, which kind fits, what to ask, and how to check the person selling it, with every rule and figure tied to where it came from.
What this isn't
- Not an insurance agency or company. We don't sell policies or give quotes.
- Not advice for your situation. A licensed agent or a financial professional can look at your whole picture.
- Not a lead form. We don't collect your name or phone number, and we don't pass anyone's details to agents or insurers.
- No insurer rankings and no “best policy” lists.
How the site pays for itself
Not yet. If it ever connects readers with a licensed agency, that only happens after the agency, its licenses and its written agreement have been reviewed, you'd ask for it yourself, and the page would say plainly who you're contacting and how we're paid. Here's the full version.
